2012 Harvest Trail Events 

We're always coming up with more great ways for you to see and experience the abundance the Bayfield region has to offer. This year, from 
October 19-21, you can plan on a great Bayfield Shores Harvest Trail vacation that will be fun for the whole family! Come on up and see us. You'll be glad you did.

Friday, October 19

Winery Tours at White Winter Winery in Iron River - 11 a.m. & 1 p.m.
Take a free tour of White Winter Winery at 11 a.m. or 1 p.m. You can also sample their delicious products at their tasting bar all day long! You can try 3 samples for free or try the full flight for $5 and get a wine glass you can take home.  

Harvest Trail Dinner at White Winter Winery in Iron River - 5:00 p.m. 
Picture an incredible evening of gourmet local food, prepared by some of the region’s most talented chefs, and paired with delectable meads from White Winter Winery and delicious craft brews from South Shore Brewery.  Add music, prizes, a silent auction, and the company of friends for dinner in a unique setting, and you’ve got the Bayfield Shores Harvest Trail Dinner!  TICKETS REQUIRED.

Saturday, October 20

Fermenting Fall Vegetables Workshop at Spirit Creek Farm in Cornucopia - 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
The workshop will be held at Spirit Creek Farm. The $60 registration fee includes a tour of the farm, a hands-on lesson in making 2 quarts of your choice of kim chi, sauerkraut or curtido to take home. We encourage creativity in the fermentation process, so if there are specific spices you are interested in incorporating, please bring them along.

Farm Tour at Maple Hill Farm - 1:30 p.m.
28745 S. Maple Hill Rd. Washburn, WI 54891 - Come visit Maple Hill Farm just north of Washburn. Tours are $10 and last about an hour.  You'll see how our on-site flour mill works, stop into our greenhouse to check out our vegetable production, and visit with the stars of our show, our pastured pigs!  You'll also have the chance to stop into our farm store to check out the variety of products Maple Hill Farm has to offer. $10/person or $35/group.
